DELTA THISTLE MASTERS BONSPIEL FEBUARY 24TH, 25TH and 26TH
Rules: This is a OPEN 60+ BONSPIEL (Men's, Women or Mixed teams welcome). Games will 8th ends. You must play a min of 6 ends. Games are limited to 2 hours and 15 minutes. Five rock free guard zone. Teams seeded after the second, third and forth games. Tie games will be decided with one draw, from any team member, to the button.
Scoring: Scoring for both ends and points scored will be based on ends 1-6 only. If there is a tie after six ends a draw to the button can determine the winner or an additional end can be played. Wins will be counted first then number of ends won and last scores. If there is a tie in total points retrogression will be used. Thirds will compete and submit all score cards No score over 10 will be recorded. In the event of a defaulted game a team will receive 2 points for the win, 6 points for the ends and 8 points for the score. Wins = 2 points, Ties = 1 point, Loss = 0 points
Prizes:
$20 per win will be disrupted after each game.
Cash prizes are: $340, $240, $180 and $160.
40-20-40 draw: Tickets will be sold daily and drawn during the luncheon. 4 door prize tickets are in your team envelop. Prizes to be drawn during the luncheon.
